This is for my agnostic, atheist and skeptic friends.

Genesis

  • God says that if Adam eats from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, then
the day that he does so, he will die. But later Adam eats the forbidden
fruit (3:6) and yet lives for another
    930 years (5:5). 2:17

    http://skepticsannotatedbible.com/proph/long.html

kahit dun sa ibinigay na reference sa site, Ang pagkakasabi sa Gen. 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

sa tingin ko, hindi sinasabi ng site na "he will die on that same day." ang sinasabi ng site, "on the day that he eat the fruit he will die" but/and it took 930 years for the "dying" to take effect.

one thing more, marami pong sarcasm ang site. kung hindi ka po sanay sa ganoong paraan ng pakikipagtalastasan, it will be confusing for you to browse thru.

i watch ur brother eli from time to time, but still, i find the Christian God violent, cruel and intollerant as compared to other religion. =)

    thanks for browsing. =)

I'd love to interfere here... :) If you don't mind, can I ask you why you find Christian God violent?

mahaba at marami po ang reason. but i'm not singling out Christianity. it also includes Islamic.

i do respect budhism and gibranic God concepts though.

    thanks. xplain also

why the forbiden fruit is in the paradise in the first place
why there was a clever talking serpent
why there were weak minded people

and with all that factors, why DEATH is the punishment?

    Fantastic link. Thanks so much.
I don't need a church to tell me what is right and what is wrong.
Especially the Catholic church with his idiot pope is the beginning and the end of all desaster on earth.
